Top 10 Country Singles


We have a new No. 1 song this week, as Carrie Underwood makes a four spot jump to claim the top spot with "All-American Girl." Rodney Atkins drops to No. 2 with "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy." Moving up one spot to No. 3 is Alan Jackson, with "Small Town Southern Man," followed by Kenny Chesney & George Strait's "Shiftwork," which drops two places to reside at No. 4. Chuck Wicks continues his upward momentum, as he gains two positions, earning a No. 5 spot with "Stealing Cinderella." Trace Adkins moves up four places with "You're Gonna Miss This" at No. 6, followed by Gary Allan, who drops one to No. 7 with "Watching Airplanes," and George Strait's "I Saw God Today," which moves up four places to No. 8. Chris Cagle remains at No. 9 for a second week with "What Kinda Gone," and Jason Aldean moves up four places to take the No. 10 spot with "We Laughed Until We Cried." I expect Carrie to hold onto the No. 1 spot for a second week.

Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Brad Paisley moves up twenty-one places, from No. 48 to No. 27, with "I'm Still a Guy." Rascal Flatts moves up sixteen places, from No. 42 to No. 26 this week, with "Every Day." Reba McEntire's "Every Other Weekend" moves up sixteen places as well, from No. 57 to No. 41. Montgomery Gentry's "Back When I Knew It All" moves up by eleven, from No. 39 to No. 28. Jason Michael Carroll's "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead" moves up ten places, from No. 52 to No. 42. Jewel's "Stronger Woman" advances seven places, from No. 26 to No. 19 this week. Dierks Bentley also moves up seven places, with "Trying to Stop Your Leaving," which moves from No. 28 to No. 21.

Dancing with the Stars cutie Julianne Hough's debut single, "That Song in My Head" debuts at No. 51. Tim McGraw's "Kristofferson" debuts at No. 53. Emily West's "Rocks in Your Shoes" debuts at No. 54. Toby Keith's "She's a Hottie" debuts at No. 56. LeAnn Rimes' "Good Friend and a Glass of Wine" debuts at No. 59.
