Top 10 Country Singles
We have a new number one this week as Brad Paisley flies up four places from No. 5 last week with "Letter to Me" for his 10th No. 1 song. Congratulations Brad! Rascal Flatts move up one place to No. 2 with "Winner at a Losing Game," followed by Montgomery Gentry, with "What Do You Think About That," which moves up one place to No. 3. Sugarland's "Stay" drops from No. 2 to No. 4, followed by Taylor Swift's "Our Song" at No. 5. Keith Urban's "Everybody" sits at No. 6 for a second week, followed by Gary Allan's "Watching Airplanes," Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus with "Ready, Set, Don't Go," Kenny Chesney and George Strait's "Shiftwork," and Rodney Atkins' "Cleaning this Gun (Come On In Boy)" each remaining at places seven through ten. Next week, it's a race between Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts, as both are having strong airplay. I believe Brad will remain at No. 1 for a second week, however.
Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Dierks Bentley's "Trying To Stop Your Leaving" moves up ten, from No. 57 to No. 47 this week. Josh Turner's duet with Trisha Yearwood, "Another Try" moves up nine places, from No. 41 to No. 32.
The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves
Jewel has the "Hot Shot Debut" with "Stronger Woman" on Billboard this week, coming in at No. 50. Sara Evans latest is "Some Things Never Change," and it debuts at No. 54. Reba's latest duet is with Kenny Chesney. It's called "Every Other Weekend," and it debuts at No. 58. Clay Walker debuts "She Likes It In The Morning" at No. 59, and The Drew Davis Band debuts "Back There All the Time" at No. 60.
