Top 10 Country Singles


Taylor Swift remains at No. 1 for an amazing sixth week. This puts her in company with Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Kitty Wells as the only women in history to spend 6 weeks at the top of the charts. Connie Smith holds the record with 8 weeks. Sugarland remains at No. 2 with "Stay" just waiting to get to that top spot. Moving up one spot is Rascal Flatts, with "Winner at a Losing Game." Dropping one spot to No. 4, is Montgomery Gentry with "What Do You Think About That." Brad Paisley's "Letter to Me" moves up one to No. 5, followed by Keith Urban, with "Everybody" at No. 6, moving down one. Gary Allan remains at No. 7 with "Watching Airplanes." Billy Ray Cyrus's "Ready, Set, Don't Go" moves up two places to No. 8, followed by Kenny Chesney and George Strait with "Shiftwork," which moves up five places to No. 9, and Rodney Atkins, with "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy)" at No. 10. Next week, look for Sugarland to finally get their time at No. 1.

Moving Up at the Speed of Light
Josh Turner's duet with Trisha Yearwood, "Another Try" is flying up the charts, moving up 16 places from its debut at No. 57 to No. 41 this week. Trisha Yearwood's own single, "This Is Me You're Talking To" is also no slouch, moving up 13 places, from its debut at No. 58 last week to No. 45 this week. Trace Adkins's "You're Gonna Miss This" moves up ten spots, from No. 38 to No. 28 this week. Carrie Underwood's "All-American Girl" climbs seven places, from No. 19 to No. 12.

The Latest Tunes To Hit The Air Waves


She still has the No. 1 song this week, but has a new song out this week. Taylor Swift's "Picture To Burn" enters the charts at No. 52. Dierks Bentley's "Trying to Stop Your Leaving" debuts at No. 57. Carter's Chord's "Young Love" debuts at No. 59, and Lila McCann is back on the charts with "That's What Angels Do," debuting at No. 60.
