Performing since the age of four, Chris St. Croix has always had the desire to make his career singing. At just fifteen years old he wrote his first song and also joined his very first band. Of the experience he says, "After that, I was hooked." Not only was he a part of the music scene, he acted in such television shows as "Full House," "Wings," and "90210" to pay for the cost of making his demos.

His music has risen to the top of the mp3.com charts and has been played on Billy Block's "Western Beat" radio program. According to Chris, he loves to play to live crowds; "I always

knew that if people were going to catch on to what I was doing, they really had to see me on the stage."

Starting off the album with an energetic beat, "To Be Your Man" asks, "Is it strength or is it cash? Knowing just what makes you laugh or just some trip to some exotic foreign land?" because he wants his girlfriend to understand that he will do whatever it takes to always be her man.

The question in the next song is "Whattayado?" for love but could also be what do you NOT do for love. When you are in a relationship you never mind shelling out most of your paycheck for dinner or fancy gifts because "nothing ever gets you like it [love] does."

"Stand Up" is wonderful slow song with a positive message. No matter where we come from, we need to be strong and stand up for what we believe in, even when doing so will be one of the toughest situations we will ever face. My favorite part is the chorus of "Stand up for what you believe, find the strength in your emotions, a little bit of hope is all we need."

In "Somebody Like You," Chris says that he wants to be with someone that he knows will forever be true to him, someone he can express his feelings to. At first glance, he never would have thought that particular girl would be the one that would make him feel so loved as well as in love.

Even though the couple broke up, the man declares that "I Can't Stop Loving You" in this upbeat tune. He says he tries to get away from those kinds of feelings but he just cannot stop them from swirling around in his head as he starts to believe she still loves him too.

Chris closes out the album with "Comin' Back For More," a tune where he knows how unsteady a relationship can be, and thinks he should not even try to find another, but he looks anyway.
